At your first appointment, we gather as much past medical information as possible to fully understand your pet's history.

Please bring any medical records or test results you have. We can also obtain these from your previous clinic if you provide us their name and phone number. It's best if this is done prior to your appointment so we have everything in place and can decrease your wait time when you arrive. You can call our office or send an email with that information.

At each appointment, our front desk staff will greet you and confirm your information before guiding you to an exam room. Next, you will meet one of our assistants who will ask some important questions about your pet and begin collecting any necessary samples for testing. Then, the veterinarian will perform a full physical examination and recommend any further diagnostic tests or treatment options as needed.

We understand everyone's situation is different, so we will guide you through the decision-making process to determine what is the best option for your pet that also fits within your budget. Our goal is to educate you on your pet's condition and the available treatment options (if needed).

We can provide you with estimates of cost along the way if further testing or treatment is required.

Some illnesses require surgery or hospitalization. Depending on the severity or urgency of the situation, we may be able to perform these services in our hospital. If we determine that a higher level of care would be best for your pet, we will refer you to a specialist for continued care. We have several options close by.

For certain illnesses, like heart disease, that requires an echocardiogram or internal diseases that require an advanced level ultrasound, we can schedule a board-certified radiologists or cardiologist to come to our hospital to perform these tests.

Whatever your pet's situation is, we will be there to help you find a solution!
